Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates, Inc. is located within a quintessential New England village in the heart of the scenic lower Connecticut River Valley. With direct access from Route 9 and other State Roads, we are an easy commute from anywhere in the surrounding region, with plentiful on-site parking. Our office building is a completely renovated circa 1900 structure which has been expanded in the traditional New England architectural style of the village. In keeping with our surroundings, we enjoy a casual working environment.

INSPECTOR
Our firm is seeking a highly motivated technical person with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, to join our team of design professionals for construction inspection on road and bridge projects. Our firm's focus is directed towards providing quality technical services to municipal clients, as well as Federal and State Agencies. Responsibilities include: Construction inspection, construction administration, cost estimating, field sampling and field investigation. Qualifications include: Experience in civil, bridge or roadway construction inspection, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, skilled in oral and written communications, organization and interpersonal relations, ability to work under the supervision of others, able to perform thorough, neat and accurate basic engineering computations, read and interpret plans and specifications, ability to safely negotiate project sites in variable weather conditions, energetic and professional attitude and excellent work ethic. NICET or NETTCP certifications are required. Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology desirable. Salary commensurate with experience.
